Kelly Lynae Robinson
Kelly lives and arts in Boise, ID. She recently took the plunge into full-time writing, and she is still feeling pretty apprehensive about it. In her spare time, and it’s all spare time, she does chalk drawings of endangered species while pretending she is a primitive human.
Nicole Orabona
Nicole moved from Boise, Idaho to Brooklyn, New York. South Williamsburg, to be exact, but no more exact than that cause she don’t want no stalkers. She’s an actress, but her secret identity is a professional waitress, where her theatre degree comes in REALLY handy.
Kim Philley
Kim Philley was born in Singapore and grew up in Indonesia, Thailand, and Virginia. A former Henry Hoyns Fellow in Creative Writing at the University of Virginia, she divides her time between Southeast Asia and Boise, Idaho. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Caravan, Phnom Penh Post, Southeast Asia Globe, The Idaho Statesman, Indiana Review, AGNI Online, and Epiphany. She has written and recorded a radio script for the BBC and has been a featured storyteller on Boise State Public Radio. She is currently working on a novel set in Burma.
Anna V. Demetriades
Things you should know about Anna D.
- Nothing but black will ever be the “new black” for this frock-lovely.
- When she was a small child, she used to grab shiny objects worn by her mother and exclaim, “cookie!” She still feels the same lust for shiny objects. Especially ones made by Hazel Cox or inherited from her dear old grandma.
- She smells real good. Fragrance is the key topper to any outfit, and thanks to the olfactory intuition of Caitlyn Davies of Intentions Perfumery, Anna starts every day with a spritz of botanical bliss.
Jessica Holmes
Jessica Holmes is cheap. Also Cheep (the voice behind). She does 3 things mainly (for the moment):
- Cheep: Live well, cheap. Jessica has an uncanny memory for both the original and sale price of everything she owns. It is a curse and a blessing. Cheep tips are gleaned from years of trial and error and hideous fashion choices.
- Story Story Night: True stories on a theme. Live on stage and without notes. Featured storytellers followed by a story slam. Jessica is a co-creator of this wildly popular live storytelling program held monthly in Boise. She hosts the live shows and the podcast. She’s also the artistic and marketing director (and copywriter, of course) for the program.
- Jessica Holmes Copywriting: Ad agencies and businesses call on Jessica when they need words. Real good words. For ads and TV spots and websites and brochures and marketing stuff. It’s called copy. Jessica is a copywriter. She sells words for a living. And works from home, sometimes in her robe. Best. Job. Ever.
Bethany Walter
Bethany is a graphic designer and jewelry dealer.
As a graphic designer, Bethany is fascinated by the influence of visual images. She is handy with a camera and with a pencil. She designs logos, collateral, and websites for both small and large clients. She enjoys the collaboration and passion of non-profits and mom and pop shops and the detailed marketing strategy of corporations.
As a jewelry dealer and owner of Armor Bijoux, Bethany collects and sells ethnic tribal jewelry. From the age of 12, she grew up in a bead and historical gift shop. On a daily basis, she armors herself with jewelry. Nothing makes her feel stronger than wearing a vintage Afghanistan collar and giant silver cuff from India.
